The hotel had okay rooms that were clean and comfortable but had old carpets with unsightly stains and a cigarette odor. The service was amazing and friendly, always providing helpful directions for local sights. The location, just 5 minutes from the station with a 25-minute train ride to Florence, was convenient but not ideal for exploring without a car. Dining was quite poor with limited options. The facilities were standard.
